Silver Spring Intermediate Park is shared with the city’s neighbor and is a 4-acre park with tennis courts, multi-use fields, a playground and peaceful green spaces.

The city of Takoma Park is about a five-minute walk from the Takoma Metro station in Washington, DC, which runs on the Red line. The Silver Spring station is co-located with a MARC commuter rail station. All stations and surrounding neighborhoods can be reached by both the Metrobus and Ride On bus lines. The nominal location of the city is situated at the crossroads of Route 195 and Route 410. Route 29 is a major north-south road in the area and connects residents with the nation’s capital.
